I don’t subscribe through Heavy Ink, but these are the comics I’m currently collecting: Amazing Spider-Man, Hulk (vol.2), Iron Man: Director of S.H.I.E.L.D., Punisher War Journal (vol.2). Favorite artists/writers: Matt Faction, John Romita Jr, Jae Lee, Richard Isanove.

Dude Kick Ass was unbelievably awesome last week. I can’t wait for the next issue, I’m glad Millar decided to make it more than a 6 issue miniseries. I really like the art on Hulk though I haven’t picked up issue 2 yet.
Heh, by the way did the kid in Kick Ass sort of remind you of Matt Murdock in the man without fear mini romita did?Have you checked out immortal iron fist btw, its a Matt Fraction/Ed Brubaker book and man it is really really damn good. The art in it is amazing too (done by David Aja), ya gotta check it out.
I really, really enjoyed month two. I didn’t think I was going to care for Jackpot all that much, but I may be wrong on that count

I’m seriously considering learning to write in script format. I’m really interested in writing comics, so that would help. Need to find a good script to download, though, so I can study it and take some notes. Suggestions?
I really really enjoyed #549 – seemed very much like the Spidey I remembered and the stuff with Jackpot was well done. If I hadn’t gotten an email last night that 550 had already shipped, I would have picked it up today…still not totally sold on Mr. Negative, but Menace has some potential.
Romita confirms he’s returning to ASM in 2008 here: http://www.comicbookresources.com/news/newsitem.cgi?id=11717 but doesn’t say when – hopefully soon!
