Hi, I am currently a 2nd year Networking and Systems Administration major. I love reading comics, playing xbox 360, movies, and reading comics.
I got into comics around the end of 2006 when a friend introduced me to the Planet Hulk hardcover, and I’ve been sucked in to the Marvel and Dc universe ever since!
I mainly follow creators but I absolutely love everything Daredevil and will probably subscribe to it till I die. I consider myself a reader more than a collector, but I’m a sucker for oversized trades.
Must reads according to me:
1.Daredevil: The Man Without Fear(f you Hal Jordan lol)
2.Daredevil Born Again
3.Daredevil: In and Out 1&2
4.Daredevil: Yellow
Must Owns:
Frank Miller’s Daredevil Omnibus
Frank Miller’s Daredevil Companion Omnibus
Brian Bendis’s Daredevil Omnibus 1&2
Hey Pat, meant to answer your question about ordering posters from HI a while ago.. short answer is “not yet”.
Yeah, I did read Resist…great little book. I’m hoping at this point someday it gets collected with the last few issues of Rucka’s run which were foolishly not traded as part of the Checkmate trades…
pat514 said:
Hey saw that you used to subscribe to checkmate. Did you check out Final Crisis: Resist? The one shot I thought was amazing for Checkmate fans and probably my favorite issue out of all things Final Crisis thus far! Resist was also huge to the how Final Crisis will play out from where it is now. Definitely check it out!
Hey Pat, glad to hear you are enjoying Preacher. I think the 3rd trade has more issues packed into it, so to save money they used cheap paper, not sure about the other trades.
I read the first 3 and I’m looking for the rest. The 3rd TPB gets very crazy and twisted, in a good way.
The Preacher Reprints have a introduction from writers/celebrities(the ones that I have). I’m not sure if anything else was added.
I usually support Vertigo monthlies because they usually do outstanding stuff. This one is by one of my favorite creators so I am biased. I think it is a little surrealist and that is not for everybody. At this point in the series you dont know what is real or what is imagined by the main characters. That can be offputting to many readers. I cannot tell you that you should go back to the title but maybe you should get the first tpb and see if you are into the surrealist narratives. There is nothing wrong if you do not like it.

Hey man, I saw you are subbed to Young Liars and I was thinking about picking it up again. I stopped with issue #4 because it really had sort of freaked me out, especially the whole old people cruise ship scene.
Do you think the book is worth giving a 2nd shot? Finally, what made you pick up this series to begin with?
I had read about Nightwing, Robin, and Birds of Prey, but not Detective. Do you have a link for that article? Would be interested in reading it.
pat514 said:
Hey man, I saw an article saying that DC was canceling Detective Comics, Nightwing, Birds of Prey, and Robin in the wake of the changes made in the Batman book.
I was just wondering what your thoughts were on that. Do you think this is a good move for the Batman books? Are you excited for the end of RIP? Do you think these changes will be permanent?
I live and breathe the Ultimate Universe. The only things I haven’t read are things that I’m awaiting the trades on which is Ultimates 3 and U. Human. I’ve heard bad things about U.3 but I don’t let it get me down, I have very low standards. It only gets even better in Ultimates 2 where it really hits the fan.
Awesome call on the Darth Bane books. I just finished reading them the other day and they were really good. I think it’s the first time I’ve ever read a SW book that focused on the Sith character.
pat514 said:
I remembered you recommended that I pick up the Ultimates hc’s, dude awesome call! I’ve been reading and loving this books so much. The first hc was fantastic, but holy shit I just got finished reading the arc where Hulk goes to trial which totally blew me away. I don’t know if you remember the ending but holy shit man it was amazing.
Thanks again for the rec dude, the books have been a absolute blast!
Cool, thanks for the tip. Those books look cool. Once the release date gets a little closer, maybe a Beta or something, I’m hoping to organize some people here to play a bit.
Looks sick, thanks for the recommendation. Did you see Deadspace Downfall. It’s awesome.
Hey Pat, I got to reading Unknown Soldier, and it was decent but not quite as good as I was expecting from the preview I read. I think the main character’s story felt a little bit forced… but there’s definitely potential and I’ll give #2 a shot.
pat514 said:
Hey, thanks man! I’ll definitely give it a go for a semester. I’m not sure how far you were able to advance but some of the sparring/belt tests up on youtube looks killer.
I read up a bit on Aikido and I really respect the passive/non-aggressive philosophy of it.
I saw that you are checking out Unknown Soldier, the comcept/back story of the book sounds pretty damn cool. I’d love to hear what you think of it!
That part does lag a bit but I would keep going especially since that’s only the second (I think) out of seven books. If you’re anything like me, you’ll get hooked on the series and like it all the way up to the last page or two of the last book. Stephen King needs a retcon…
pat514 said:
Hey, saw the post on the Dark Tower books. I’m reading the second book right now and while the beginning was great I can’t get into this story with the disabled woman.
Should I tought it out, or was the best book Gunslinger born?
Hey dude, I’ve never read the Dark Tower Novel or the Comic.
I heard great things about the novel. How is the comic?
I think I’m going to start picking up Batman: Gotham After Midnight. Ever read it?
Hey Pat, Saw your Aikido related blurb to FrogMan… I studied Aikido for a short time, and loved it (needed to stop because of an unrelated shoulder injury, never restarted, should…). It’s probably not the martial art most strongly focused on pure self-defense, but it’s great for a mix of that with just generally developing great total-body physical skills. Definitely try it if you get the chance.
Hey man, Taken looks cool. Where did you watch it? It says it come out in Jan of 09.
I saw a movie a few days ago that scared the liveing shit out of me called The Strangers, check it out. Hellraiser is such a classic gorefest, there are about 9 different movies, I’ve seen em all.
The Joker OGN looks sick also. I’ve never really been into Superman, too much of a boy scout for me.
I’ve not formally taken any Aikido classes although we do learn some of it as part of the self-defense part of our kenpo class. I really like it what I’ve seen of it though and it would probably be a style I’d like to learn more about if I had more time.
If you are interested in learning some self-defense, you could do much worse than aikido, that’s for sure…
pat514 said:
Hey, very cool pictures regarding the Martial Arts Tournament. I was wondering if you’ve tried Aikido at all? I was just registering for classes when I saw this offered as a pe credit.
Thanks!
Are you going to read Unknown Soldier from Dc?
How is the first arc of Criminal? Know any good Batman comics coming out? Something that doesn’t relate to Batman RIP, I’d like to get into a fresh Batman Arc.
I’m gonna check out LBP, I agree with u about platforms.
Max payne was a sick game; loved it. You gonna see the movie? I am.
Some gritty movies with a gritty story like Max Payne in my opinion are: Constantine, From Hell, Gangster no 1, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (my fav), Trainspotting, Ravenous, Tales from the Crypt Demon Knight, Bully, Dark City, Hellraiser and CHOPPER search these movies on IMDB.com. All very gritty films.
Some comics would be Impaler, ‘76, Cthulhu Tales, Necromonicon, Locke and Key, Preacher, Gravel and Fool Killer.
I’m a big movie buff; Sci-Fi, Horror, Crime, Thriller etc..
I’ve been waiting for Dead Space and Brothers in Arms to be returned back to blockbuster for over a week now. I have Oblivion and I hate it. Fallout 3 looks cool but it seems a little silly for me.
I gave up on Star Wars after Episode 2. Too much Lucas psycho babble. I always loved the episode 4,5,6 trilogy, that oldschool vibe.
I’m thinking about getting the new Call of Duty World at War game but the one that is a definite buy will be Killzone 2 in Feb.
Fable 2 has a cool premise, you can grow as a good or bad guy, but I’m a PS3 player so I don’t know much about it further than that.
I used to play warcraft III back in the day then got addicted to diablo 2. I have a few buddies that play WoW, they love it. I just play PS3 now, can’t afford to get addicted to WoW. The monthly fees to play are bullshit.
Yeah, the South Park episode was funny but I thought not as funny as previous ones.
Did you play Dead Space yet? I’m still waiting for the shithead to return it to blockbuster. That and Brothers in Arms: HH, blockbuster canada is the worst for renting games.
I should start renting online.
yo man, they say Dead space will have that jump out of your seat suspence unlike the new silent hill game. I saw SH got a bad review for repetive gameplay and trying to be scary.
I played Bioshock at a friends house, I thought it was awsome, very unique but I usually buy games for online so i’ll probably rent it.
I’m still deciding if I want to purchase Dead Space or rent it. I know I’ll only play it through one time.
Did you see the new South Park episode?
I haven’t yet received my copy of DC decisions yet, but I should soon, I’ll let you know if it’s any good, from what I hear people who’ve read it like it and people who haven’t, don’t.
As for Action Comics I haven’t got that either I only just started my sub. But I’m quickly finding I love anything with Geoff Johns, I have a total man crush on him.
pat514 said:
Hey man great profile, you have some crazy stuff on your pull! How has Dc Decisions been? The concept and art looks awesome but I haven’t heard much.
Dude, has Action Comics been great or what? I can’t wait for the big event coming up and man I hope it is as good as the Sinestro event was for GL.
I haven’t read the Prodigal Sons yet. I am waiting for the final issue and then I will read them all at once. But I hear they have been great. I really love crime/horror comics. So I am sure they will be as good as the previous series.
Pristeen 16 has not come out yet. The first issue is due this week, so we will have to see.
Yeah I kind of have an eclectic taste in comics and music. So I typically don’t go much for the mainstream unless I hear good things about the series.
pat514 said:
Cool to see someone else into The Killer and The Damned.
I recently read the first trade and though it was fantastic! How has Prodigal Son been so far? I may pick it up in trade, but if its fantastic I’ll try and catch up.
You have some crazy cool subs on here as well. Is pristeen16 pretty cool, the covers look awesome!
Hey man did you play Mercenaries 2? If you didn’t don’t bother, it’s repetitive, glitchy and the online is just co-op. Overall it’s a waste of money and time, even renting it as I did made me want my money back.
Invincible Iron Man has been great, I really love it. It’s good Fraction writing and while some might not like Larocca’s realistic art, I find it good enough not to be disruptive in my reading. I’m definitely looking forward to every issue coming out.
pat514 said:
Hey man, how has invinicble Iron Man been? I was watching clips of it in prep for the dvd release and I’m dying to get more Iron man stuff!
Heck yeah I am. DnA are doing an amazing job with the Marvel Cosmos. I’m also a big fan of Cosmo. Something about telepathic dogs with Russian accents are just too awesome.
pat514 said:
Dude, sweet rocket raccoon avatar. Are you checking out Guardians of the Galaxy right now? I think it’s been great, though I wish it got more attention.
yeah, I dropped it after #5 shipped. I still have not read #4 but knew the arc was ending at #5 and it wasn’t really doing anything for me… Plenty to pick from to spend my money on anyway ;)
pat514 said:
Decided to drop House of Mystery? Did you make it to issue #5? After #4 I decided to drop it but I’m tempted to give it one more shot to get me hooked and finish the arc.
yea man the roberts is about the boston strangler and the zodiac killer during their old age metting eachother in a retirement home. Its 48 pages B&W reads like a movie, great writing and the art grows on you. Pick it up.
I was surprised with my enjoyment of Action Comics. I’ve never really been a superman fan. The Christopher Reeves movies and Smallville, I always liked, but the comics seemed too cheesy and/or boring to me. I also have all the current All-Star Supermans though. I really liked the beginning and now the end of the run, but a lot in the middle were pretty unimpressive to me. In fact I’m not even sure why I started reading Action, but I’m glad I did.
As far as Deadpool goes. #1 doesn’t come out till September 3, so I’m anxiously waiting. I don’t expect the writing to be all that impressive, but Deadpool is always a fun character for me to read no matter who’s doing the story, and this one has the ability to be better than normal, so we’ll see.
pat514 said:
Hey man, glad to see another person who is really digging Action Comics! I absolutely love the art on the book, are you a fan of having Clark look similar to Christopher Reeves? For me I couldn’t have it any other way after seeing it in Action Comics.
I would have never considered myself a fan of superman, even all star superman I’m sort of impartial toward, but it seems like anything Geoff Johns writes is sure to be a hell of a book.
How was Deadpool #1 by the way? I loved the Cable & Deadpool series, so I’m pretty curious to see how Deadpool solo turns out.
here’s my animation playlist from youtube check it out. I have Jin-Roh on DVD (special 3 disc edition) awesome movie, Ninja Scroll and Akira are good also.
Hey pat, oh man I picked up Welcome to Hoxford, its great and gory. Templesmith is doing a 10 star job, the covers and art are sick. The first issue is basically about a crazy guy who like biting people, he gets sent to a facility runed by private russian military with a bunch of other psychos and it seems really shadey. Definitely pick this one up! Are you into animation like spawn, vampire hunter d or animatrix?
I just read the newest issue of the Boys and it was probably one of the best issues so far. Probably my favorite series going on right now.
I’m still trying to finangle a copy of the trade. But it definately looks like a good series that I want to get into.
Thanks for that movie idea. Good foreign movies are always fun.
pat514 said:
Hey, I saw that the new issue of The Killer is coming out this week, I’m definitely going to check it out. I talked with the publisher at Comic Con and it seems like they went through some restructuring and are shooting to get back on schedule.
By the way man, you HAVE TO check out this movie called Le Samourai, its a 60’s french film about a hitman very similar to the one in this book, and it’s absolutely fantastic.
Check it out!
Ive read the nightly news actually, but thanks for the suggestion. I agree with ya, Pax Romana is pretty damn good, I love Hickmans work. I have his Pilot season “the core” coming, interested to see how that is.
pat514 said:
Hey dude, I saw your post about your delayed wait for Red Mass for Mars. I hope it comes soon but while your waiting, I really really recommend picking up The Nightly News trade. This is one of Hickman’s earlier works (nominated for an Eisner) and it really is one of his best.
Overall I think Pax Romana is Hickman’s strongest work but The Nightly News is a close second.
I think the publisher’s having some problems – if I remember correctly, one of the owners wants out and they’ve been looking for someone to buy his share of the company or something, and it’s caused them to delay printing any new books… and thanks for the tip, I’ll definitely check out the movie.
pat514 said:
Hey man, I saw that you are picking up the new issue of The Killer. I don’t know what’s been going on with the long wait, but I highly recommend you check out a movie called Le Samourai, a fantastic movie about a french hitman, and from what I’ve heard a major influence for this comic.
Hmm, wow. That’s tough because there are some things about to come out I’m really psyched about. But if I had to choose five titles right NOW that I couldn’t live without, besides Bat-books natch, they’d be “Conan”, “Walking Dead”, “Punisher”, “Wolverine”, and “Jonah Hex”.
pat514 said:
Cool man, thanks! Hey I’ve had to keep back on my subscriptions as of late and am sorta looking for really the must have stuff right now. If you could only get 5 books what would they be?
Start with #855 or #858. Pretty darn solid and fun since then.
pat514 said:
Hey, I was checking out the Action Comics page because I was thinking about giving it a shot and I saw you were a subscriber. How’s Action Comics been so far, I’ve never really been a Superman fan but I’ve heard such great things about this book.
Wheres a good issue to start for this?
Not this year, but maybe next year!
pat514 said:
Hey, are you guys planning on setting something up for comic-con (the one in San Diego) this year? This is going to be my first one and I’d be psyched to see something from Heavyink at the con!
I think it’s quite fitting that you got the Monarch result on the Venture Brothers quiz.
Which wormwood? the gentelman corpse title one or the one just called wormwood from avatar? Ne ways the both looked interesting to me.
I played MGS4 at my friends house, the controls take some getting used to but the cutscenes are amazing. Some scenes are like an hour long. I pre ordered Battlefield Bad Company instead of getting MGS4.
I began to play more FPS games like Killzone, Call of Duty and Brothers in Arms, in my late teenage years, but before that it was all about tekken 3. I like fighting games for PS3 like Fight Night Round 3 and the UFC game coming out in 2009 looks pretty sweet. My buddy really likes Soul Caliber, especially the new one with yoda on X360 and Darth Vader on PS3, seems cool.
Idono if u read Red Mass for Mars yet but its pretty cool, awesome art and colour in it! Kind of vauge at first but half way into it things becomes clearer. There is a part that seems really REALLY stupid, but might play out better in upcoming issues. It’s where a sorcerer dude demands everyone to speak english all over the world and kills off people and countries for opposing his ways, they could have left that part out. It’s basically Hickmans version of superhero’s saving the earth.
God of War 1 and 2 are great games, I want to play # 3, when it comes out next year.
That’s a very good question. I’m thinking about dropping an email towards customer service to ask that.
Have you heard anything new on the book, or what the heck happened?
Heh, heck if I know. All I know is that this title looks interesting and it’s a pain to find.
pat514 said:
Hm, I clicked on the link and it shows the first gn as “preorder now”, does that mean they are getting it in stock or do you think it is more like a “just in case this ever comes in”?
This publisher has been so weird with this title, I’ve gotten issues 5,6 and then nothing. Have you heard anything new on the book, or what the heck happened?
You think Northlanders is getting better? I think its just the tip of the iceberg, but if it isnt i’ll be disappointed.
Skaar’s looking great!
pat514 said:
Ah cool, I love Greg Pak’s hulk! Are you planning on checking out Son of Sakaar (or was it on of Hulk). It would be unbelievable if it was like a mix between Pak’s Hercules and his Hulk. Art looks great too!
Oh man!!! Have you been keeping up with the killer? I loved the two issues I got #5 and 6, but it’s been impossible to find the first trade.
I have no idea when HI got this in stock. They need to tell us when stuff like this happens!
check out the Marvel Max titles. Let me know what you think of A Red Mass For Mars #1.
Aaron is rocking Ghost Rider. GR’s always been a fave of mine. One of my first comics was #1 from the 90s. Bought it on a spinner rack at a drugstore! Don’t see those anymore…I can’t wait to see what Aaron does with some of the old GR baddies! Hellboy is awesome, dude! I actually started with the last mini, and loved it. I’d say start at the beginning with Seed of Destruction. I also just picked up Hellboy The Companion book at Barnes/Noble for $15. It’s awesome with lots of info, character profiles for the BPRD, a time line, and folklore. Check those out, see what you think, and go from there!
pat514 said:
Ya! Another Ghost Rider fan Dude I’ve been loving Jason Aaron’s run on Ghost Rider can’t wait to see where its going. I saw you digging Hellboy too, any recommendations? There is like 7 books for hellboy alone and then bprd and lobster etc. Any trades that are must haves?
O and Ben Templesmith has a new comic series called Welcome to Hoxford, [horror!] it’s from IDW publishing will be released in August.
XXXombies is no good, trust me pick up Walking Dead. You wont regret it. I am going to pick up Preacher in the near future, I read a few pages of the 1st TPB, its my kind of comic.
I like hellboy, but I don’t collect much, a few comics here and there, I have an early issue of The Goon where Hellboy makes a cameo, from when I first started getting into comics. Lobster Johnson just appealed to me, I enjoyed it, I would get a Hellboy series if they made it more mature. I own the first hellboy DVD, i’ll probably going to buy the second.
yea the scene between their miltary force and the roman soldiers was cool. Oh man must haves…. There are so many, im mostly into horror and mature comics, mainly horror. Must haves are Walking Dead (amazing zombie comic pick up the trades), Cthulhu Tales from boom-studios (the art is amazing, dark H.P Lovecraft horror tales about a dark squid/man god that messes up norman peoples lives), also check out Fool Killer by Marvel (hes like the new punisher). Check out my Horror list and my Graphic Novel list. How are you finding Young liars? I read a few pages in my local shop but decided not to commit.
I totally agree wqith you about Pax and Transhuman. I love Hickmans art in Pax, and Trans human was supposed spotlighted for its humor and its has none. I eanna see what A Red Mass For Mars is gonna be like. I really enjoyed lobster johnson and the iron Prometheus, its set in the 1930’s, the tale follows the still-living Johnson as he and his allies face the Nazi threat as well as cannibals and yeti. Dr. Fu Manchu isnt in it. Its about a guy with a special weapon suit, lobster johnson has to protect him so it doesn’t fall into nazi hands, filled with paranormal, sorcery, and pulp fiction.
Gemini was pretty good, definitly has me hooked for future issues. Hope its just as good as Faebers other series.
pat514 said:
Hey, How’s Gemini been so far? I looked at a few pages of it on newsarama (they have a free preview) and it looked pretty cool, definitely something I’d check out.
That second cover does look awesome. I dunno. I’m definately going to read it, but I usually wait for the trade to come out for Ultimate series. I’ve only broken that once when I read a couple issues of U. Iron Man II but then I stopped and decided to read them all at once in the trade.
pat514 said:
Hey man, are you going to check out Ultimate Origins #1 next week? I’m sort of getting sick of everything being written by Bendis these days, but damn the preview looks awesome. I guess it’s a mini though, so I might wait for the trade.
Heres the preview on ign http://comics.ign.com/articles/877/877724p1.html Cover B looks awesome btw.
No I actually haven’t read it yet, but I can’t wait to get a hold of a copy
pat514 said:
Whoa, that Conan book looks pretty cool. Cho’s art on the cover looks total badass, have you read the 0 issue, is it worth checking out?
I haven’t read “V” or “League”... yet. Probably cause I watched the movies?? I picked up League a couple of years ago, but haven’t got to it yet. I have been eyeballing Black Dossier.
If you want to check out a cool TPB, not for the writing, but the artwork, get Batman, Arkham Asylum – the art is done by Dave McKean (Sandman Covers, Wolves in the Walls, MirrorMask [DVD], etc.), check it out… Nice diversion from typical comic cell art. Right now, I am sort of immersing myself in some older Kirby & Ditka stuff, right now… These are the Gods (along with Stan Lee). I just read the first “House of Mystery”, that looks like a promising series, too.
Bottom line is that I find it very hard to put my finger on what is good. Stuff I discard as cheese or fluff or shallow speed-volume production noise, I can come back to with some insight or epiphany and really enjoy. Then, there is a lot material that will just never be redeemable on any aesthetic plane.
I started reading Tank Girl: The Gifting, art by Ashley Wood (a favorite of mine) and I thought it absolutely sucked. The writing was gutter trash and art was on the hyper-cheap… I picked it up again and thumbed through it slowing, just looking for any kind of handle to explain why such garbage would printed and distributed… And, I found myself laughing and really enjoying all the screened, pixelated, scribbled artwork. The writing was so over-the-top irreverent… and I was laughing. What can I say? It was a great mini-series, that just took me awhile to warm up to. So, last parting shot… Did you read and follow the “Y: The Last Man” series? That was SO damn good. And, those JG Jones covers… Damn.
Comics. It’s a big world. And, they are no longer fringe entertainment, that’s for sure.
Gotta run.
pat514 said:
Hey man, saw your post on Watchmen, great comic! I just read it for the first time after taking a course on The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen this past semester. I really love the backmatter in each issue, and man oh man the absolute edition is jaw dropping.
Have you read V for Vendetta as well? I loved Watchmen, though I think I enjoyed V for Vendetta a tiny bit more. By far my favorite work from Moore though, has been his League of Extraordinary Gentlemen! The Black Dossier was I thought, amazing!
I have ps3 :(, I saw the animated version b4, it’s good but the voice over actors could use a little work. It starts getting more gorey in issue 3. Brian Templesmith also did the cover for POGROM #1, one of the series I’m reading. I’ve played Bio Shock at my buddies house b4 it’s awesome. Have you seen the movie The Thing? If not you should watch it. Its like Dead space but in the Arctic.
Dead space is pretty cool i’ve always been a fan of horror/sci-fi. The comic is a prequel to the game, reminds me of John Carpenters remake of The Thing. Do you have 360 or PS3?
Hey, the pilot series are TopCows yearly contest, although I think this is only the second year. readers vote on which ones they like best, and whichever comic wins gets made into a series. Hope its good.
I havent actually read scalped yet, I hear so many good things about it though. Currently im signed up for the 18th issue and on, the 18 is a contained story so i figured that would be a good starting point. And yea, i love aarons writing too.
pat514 said:
Hey man, what are these “pilot series books”, I saw you were picking up Hickman’s The Core book and a few others, is this going to be ongoing? The cover looks awesome for alot of them btw.
How’s Scalped been btw, I read the first trade was thinking about getting the 2nd trade and issues. It seems really dark and depressing, but Aaron is writing it…damn I dunno!
hey patk, the Pilot Season books are a series of six one shots of six new series by six different writers released by Top Cow at the rate of two per months in May, June and July. Once these books will be all out, they will open some sort of voting booth on their Myspace page and the top two vote getters will be released as a mini series or an ongoing new series.
I’ve been hunting some links and I’ll feature them on my miniblog soon…

Sorry about the flaky issues you were seeing for a while there. I left a bug in the List deletion code. It’s fixed now. Thanks for being a guinea pig!
Sorry I can’t offer any opinions…I have the first trade, which I actually read in floppies and loved, and now I have the second in my “to read” pile (after re-reading the first). In general, though, I have to say—Jason Aaron is one of my favorite new writers. I’m gonna pick up his runs on Wolverine and Ghost Rider in trade, in fact.

Hey, I was thinking about picking up scalped again, have you read the second trade? Do you think you’ll keep following it?
