Thanks Man!!

Which wormwood? the gentelman corpse title one or the one just called wormwood from avatar? Ne ways the both looked interesting to me.

I played MGS4 at my friends house, the controls take some getting used to but the cutscenes are amazing. Some scenes are like an hour long. I pre ordered Battlefield Bad Company instead of getting MGS4.

I began to play more FPS games like Killzone, Call of Duty and Brothers in Arms, in my late teenage years, but before that it was all about tekken 3. I like fighting games for PS3 like Fight Night Round 3 and the UFC game coming out in 2009 looks pretty sweet. My buddy really likes Soul Caliber, especially the new one with yoda on X360 and Darth Vader on PS3, seems cool.

Idono if u read Red Mass for Mars yet but its pretty cool, awesome art and colour in it! Kind of vauge at first but half way into it things becomes clearer. There is a part that seems really REALLY stupid, but might play out better in upcoming issues. It’s where a sorcerer dude demands everyone to speak english all over the world and kills off people and countries for opposing his ways, they could have left that part out. It’s basically Hickmans version of superhero’s saving the earth.

God of War 1 and 2 are great games, I want to play # 3, when it comes out next year.

That’s a very good question. I’m thinking about dropping an email towards customer service to ask that.

Have you heard anything new on the book, or what the heck happened?

Heh, heck if I know. All I know is that this title looks interesting and it’s a pain to find.

You think Northlanders is getting better? I think its just the tip of the iceberg, but if it isnt i’ll be disappointed.

Skaar’s looking great!

I’ve always thought of Grant Morrison’s work to be fascinating, deep, witty, and utterly confusing. Although this book was certainly confusing, at least for a first time reader, it’s definitely a glimpse of what is sure to be an epic plot line for Batman.

This first issue is an attempt to recap everything that has lead up to this current arc while introducing new key players. Although the recap does not go into great detail, it does allow the reader to progress and keep up somewhat to what’s happening with Batman.

My favorite aspect of this issue is the art. Tony Daniel has done an absolutely stunning job, producing jaw dropping spreads, car chases, and a solid jam-packed layout. I finished this issue somewhat confused, but it is a good sense of confusion, one that makes me genuinely intrigued and anxious to see how far down the rabbit hole Morrison has brought the world of Gotham.

This is the first Green Lantern book I’ve ever picked up and judging from the amazing writing, pencils, and color work it will definitely not be my last. This issue takes a break from everything post Sinestro Corps War and gives new readers a chance to check out the origin of “the man without fear” himself, Daredevi…I mean Hal Jordan. This issue begins with Hal Jordan recounting his childhood depicted as a young headstrong kid with a love of aviation and his father. Unfortunately this young Hal seems to face one tragedy after another culminating to finding himself constantly on the rebound. Each of these tragic events appear to have a subtle effect on Hal and more so, affecting the bond between him and his brothers.

The writing on this book I felt was fantastic, flowing perfectly from first person narration right into dialogue for various scenes. Finally, the art on this issue is something that made this a must buy for me, being vibrant throughout with the page layout being very easy to follow. The issue had a very cinematic scope and feel with an amazing 2 page spread. (Definitely a moment where I thought “Man that was badass!”)

Overall I thought this was a fantastic starting point, especially for new readers like me. This issue has me hooked and depending on how this arc plays out, this may become one of my favorite characters in the DCU.

This was easily the best issue of the current arc so far, great action, interesting characters, and daredevil doing what he does best, getting his hands dirty. The cliffhanger ending was just fantastic in this issue as well. Technically the issue is flawless with consistently great art and writing from Lark and Brubaker respectively.
