I think I like buying things online just because there’s something wonderful about getting things in the mail that isn’t spam or bills. I just bought something from a store online that has a physical location not 5 minutes away. It’s gonna fate 5-8 business days but I’m gonna be flippin giddy when it’s here!

Mail is the bomb. :) Especially when I was in college or while I was away in grad school. Email is convenient and all, but there’s something special about that handwritten note in the mailbox. Or better yet, checks and packages of goodies!
funny you mention that, ever since I’ve started buying books from HevyInk, every trip to the mailbox has the potential to bring me an envelope of comics. Well, okay, not EVERY trip, but I do get all giddy when a week has passed since the last shipment from HI has been confirmed… Unfortunately, I also get very irritated when one shipment is not in the box when I hope it would be, but that’s another story…
