You’re not who you think you are.

Hey man! You got some really great stuff on your pull list. I wonder how good the green lantern that came out this week? Reviews so far have said its been awesome. Detective and Logan look great too, gotta love bkv.

daynah says:

HAHA! Golly. Math and Time are neither or my strong suits. Probably why I’m amused by Doctor Who.

Geno Z Heinlein said:

Look at the dates in your Joss post.

daynah says:

What?

Geno Z Heinlein said:

PS: Proof that you already believe Joss is God. (1) You have shown that Joss is capable of releasing an issue of a comic eight months prior to the previous issue. (b) Joss has the power to fold time and space. (iv) QED.

daynah says:

Then I need to stop going to church. :P

Geno Z Heinlein said:

You STILL haven’t noticed that Joss Whedon is God.

Gin says:

Hmmm… if I’m not who I think I am, am I who YOU think I am? Then if I don’t know you, do ‘I’ cease to exist, since you don’t think anything about me? (is grinning like the idiot she really is)

Hi. I’m bored. So I’m going around talking to random people since the few forums I frequent have been dead lately. :D

Tyler says:

You’re more likely to get an Iraq timetable from the current administration than you are to get a timetable from me. (ba-dum-ching)

But, in reality, my time is going to be taken up for the next few days (at the least) in graphic novel hell, getting all of the available gns into the system.

Let me think about it for a little bit, and if it seems short and useful enough I’ll throw it together before I start on the gns. Otherwise its gotta come afterward. :)

Tyler, I was thinking of posting some more shipment times, especially since the time in transit has been going as low as two days, but I wonder if that date dropdown might be right around the corner, in which case I could wait. Any early word on this?

daynah says:

One of the students in the Professional Writing class is writing a book that’s a parody of a childrens book and one of the pages says something like, “No Stalking! If you can see them through the window, and they can’t, it’s stalking, stupid!”

Geno Z Heinlein said:

Ditto, Daynah. If you get chick-harassed around here, just let me know their street address. Unless it’s by me, in which case give me YOUR street address. I promise to stalk in a low-key manner. :-)

daynah says:

Do you have a million dollars and a ring?

Geno Z Heinlein said:

“BAH FUCKING HUMBUG!”... Daynah, is it too early to confess my love for you? :-)

Tyler says:
  1. Slackware is too hardcore for me
  2. Volderking looks like a giraffe
  3. What are your thoughts of FreeBSD?

Geno Z Heinlein said:

<jihad>There is no Linux but Slackware, and Patrick Volkerding is its prophet.</jihad> (Insert Xena ululations here.)

daynah says:

Oh. I’ve actually probably read some of his stuff in a class I took that compared Homer to Star Wars.

Joseph Campbell is an author of books about universal themes of hero mythology and the hero’s journey. He’s probably most famous for his inspiration of George Lucas.

Tyler says:

Ah. Its so deliciously customizable. You don’t like a bar on the top? Screw that bar. Put it on the side. You don’t want a clock? Ef the clock. You want a different task bar? Sure, no problem.

Macs may look better out of the box, but you can, if you want to spend the time, make a Linux desktop drop dead sexy.

Geno Z Heinlein said:

I made my linux desktop look like a little like a Mac once, but I did it all myself in fvwm and the gimp... does that count? :-)
daynah says:

Joseph Campbell? I’m sorry, I’m lost. haha

Geno Z Heinlein said:

This was in fact the start of my journey to become an asshole.

ring ring... Hello? Hang on…. Daynah, it’s for you, it’s Joseph Campbell.

daynah says: Yeah, that counts. Not good. I posted my desktop, still very gnome lookie, and the compiz was so impressive that everyone thought it was Mac. I swiftly corrected!!
Geno Z Heinlein says: I made my linux desktop look like a little like a Mac once, but I did it all myself in fvwm and the gimp... does that count? :-)
daynah says: I am pretty awesome, what can I say? Speaking of being pro-linux. I have a friend who makes his linux look like a mac. I hate that. Part of advertising linux is showing off that you use it, and making it look like leopard is like being ashamed that it, what, looks awesome with compiz-fusion? I think I'm going to reformat his computer in my own image next time I get on it. Mwahaha.
Geno Z Heinlein says: I've been posting a lot because I'm very excited about HeavyInk. I hope you guys are around for a very long time.
Todd Michael R. says: Glad to see you using the forums.
