I just wrote something. I was supposed to be finishing my screenplay. ...But I accidentally wrote two scenes of something else. It’s a comedy. ...it’s ridiculous.
Massive Update
Item! – Welcome Home, You Lowdown Caballero! Is still in the process of getting inked, still thinking about what to do about a letterer or as Sarah calls it, ...a letterist.
Item! – Best band ever? Two of my brothers are on the road with their new group, The Cactus’s. Check it out.
Item! – David Wise the composer of all the Donkey Kong Country games contacted my former comedy group, and said he loved the video, and asked if he could show it in a seminar about his music. This has a holy shit rating of 5000.
Item! – Head over fucking heels in love with Sarah Kachevas.
Cry Vengeance, Cry Safety!
The cave-in was massive.
The dust from the walls was an archaically fed mushroom, billowing up into the sky.
The entire west wing of The tower had fallen, crumbling into ruins of mortar.
Crushing me under it’s weight.
Comedy Thoughts and an Omen
I specialize in is something I call 30 second comedy. I’m not naive enough to believe I invented it, only that I fully support it.
What it is is you take a joke, a hilarious scene, and grind it down to the quickest beat possible.
Today, Right Now, Just Then
My name is Todd Michael Rogers
I’m sitting here at Panera bread with an itchy seat full of unwashed jeans.
the overhead speakers are blaring what i can only describe as Helen Keller on sax.
A light rock acid washed bullshit crescendo for the masses.
Eat our Bread! and listen to yourself die.
Fresh News From The Wharves
I am still alive.
Unerringly relentless in my campaign to blog from my great tower of semi opaque darkness, it’s windows curtained in un-lint-rollable grey velour
I bring you word from the Castle of Gloom!
Last week (last week?!) I read the prologue to The Book of Nog out loud to Sarah.
She really seemed to like it, and even gave me a high five (the lover’s equivalent of a firm handshake of awareness)
Hello Green Soldier
can’t stop working on The Book of Nog, though I really do hope to take another crack at Screenplay no.1 by the end of next week; not to mention start (and subsequently finish) screenplay no. 2.
Updates From The Front Lines
I think I’m addicted to writing.
I spent last night sitting next to Sarah at my parent’s house as she edited photos of The Cactus’s (best band in Nashville).
I wrote at random, and ended up with a prelude to The Book of Nog. As of this morning I have a prelude, and roughs of the first 5 to 6 chapters.

whoa wtf. Our god has fallen in love?! Is she also a god? (not a goddess… goddesses are just silly.)
Also, awesome about David Wise.
It’s great stuff. Keep it up!

thnaks for enjoying the team genius stuff!
hey todd. I can’t believe your DK remix hasn’t gotten more views. did you ever think of posting them on Donkey Kong forums? I just did a google search of “Donkey Kong forums” and found a handful that looked busy. The video is brilliant. Cheers.
I’ve come to the conclusion that you get more awesome by the day. I was way behind on my “Thoughts That I Have Had”... but I caught up today. They just got progressively more and more awesome.
mmm, writing. the one thing I cant/wont do willingly. :)

Read this book.
perfect script.
perfect art.
perfect everything.
The Sentry may not be the most original creation, but he's a wonderful homage and Bendis should get massive props for bringing him back from nothing.
You WILL enjoy this book.*
*Unless of course you're a DC fanatic, I don't even know WHAT you guys like anymore... : )

Bendis writes like any Marvel fanboy would dream, his scripts feel like movies and his dialogue is often time perfect, his characterization scratching the itch we all to often unknowingly crave.
Volume two is a thousand times better, but that's only because it's just so good.

Issue 1?
Nigh on perfect.
NIGH. ON.
Go ahead and read it, and if you don't immediately pine for the rest of the series, I'll be shocked and appalled.
Let's geta few things straight:
This series was created and written by Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance
My Chemical Romance happen to be my favorite band.
This comic has nothing to do with the band My Chemical Romance.
If you like your stories set in the surreal, and like your characters Wes Anderson style weird, then this is the book for you.
