I am the snap, crackle, pop in your Rice Crispies. I am the creamy filling in your Twinkie. Women want me; men want to be me. I am the freakin’ coolest college professor you’ll ever have. I’m “that guy.” Yep, you know me.

I am Sam. Sam I am.

Damn, Cats and Kittens! This is one seriously good read. It’s definitely not your normal comic, so if that’s what you’re after, keep scootin’. No, this is different. Thankfully so. The dialogue is damn good. You can actually hear these cats speak. The story is a typical murder mystery, and you’ll probably figure it out pretty early. But, that’s not the point. The point is the presence. Believe me, Cats and Kittens, this book is golden. Buy it.

Have I mentioned that this is now my new favourite comic? No? Then let me do so now.

Cats and Kittens, this is my new favourite comic.

The writing is top-notch. The dynamics between characters is wonderfully handled. There’s just the right amount of sexual tension and utter hatred.

Plus, Choopie. Come on! It’s Choopie! I’m not afriad to scream this out loud and long- “I LOVE CHOOPIE!”

I can’t figure out if the social/political commentary is pro or anti-war. All I CAN say is this- less blah, blah. More zombies.

I agree, I was expecting something else in this book. I dropped it after two issues.

Reading this title makes me want to grow my beard out to heathen proportions, grab an axe, and go forth to smite and plunder.

Brian Wood, you, sir, are a comic writing god. I shall burn villages in your name.
