Something to feel glum about. The usual dull teenage laments: popularity, mean kids, rowdy parties, regrettable sex. Thrilling stuff if you’re 15, but Optic Nerve 8 doesn’t offer anything new.
Our heros are Scotty and Alex. Alex has figured out that high school is dumb and is effectively learning to check out. Scotty’s not quite there yet. The two of them sigh at each other for a while, then Scotty sighs at a girl, and then she sighs a little more and uses her breasts.
So, it’s basically Freaks and Geeks except nobody has anything to do.
