In 1990 a small arcade and trading card shop opened in our town, it was there I got my first pack of Marvel Trading Cards.  I began collecting them like Mad.  I loved the art, I loved the iconic images on the cards.  

After that in 1992 I started watching Xmen the animated series, that was the nail in the coffin.  I began buying Xmen comics at first, then expanded into Spiderman, and then some DC stuff in 93 with the death of Superman issues, and the Funeral for a friend series.

In 1995 I moved in with my father and kinda fell out of comics for a while.  I started laying music then, and that took up a lot of free time.  

in about 2003 I picked up a trade of Ultimate Xmen and rekindled my love of comics.
