I'm a long-time comic book collector that stops and starts occasionally as I find more books piling up than I have time to read. I'm happily married, a lead engineer, gamer, great cook, gardener, woodworker and other random things. I've lived in Europe (Italy) for a while and I enjoy speaking Italian as well as it's my favorite food ethnicity to cook.

My book tastes vary but generally if it's relying on giant-breasted, tiny-waisted chicks to sell a book with pathetic writing, you can bet I'll pass it by. Writing comes first and the art is often second (there are some exceptions). I dislike the small runs big-name writers do anymore on most books as an attempt to boost readership on flagging titles and make a quick book and I long for continuity of characters, stories and ideas over multi-year periods.
