I am just like Dr. McNinja (www.drmcninja.com). Except I’m not a ninja. And I’m not Irish (*or Scottish). But I am a licensed doctor… of pain.
Andy, Fables Vol. 10 came out mid-June. I picked my copy up at the local Barnes & Noble, and most places have it in stock. Not sure why HI has it listed as Aug. 1; maybe it’s part of the whole not-stocking graphic novels thing? However you get it, read it soon; it is awesome!
Is your MacBook still under Warranty? Both times that my MagSafe died on me I just handed it to the nearest Genius Bar and got a replacement.
Thanks for the complements. And Yay for Dr. McNinja!

Hi Blu J! I was just checking out some of your pictures (clearly I am bored at work). I noticed you had a problem with your MacBook power adapter. I need to go buy a new one AGAIN. But mine gets tweaked right where it connects to the computer. I love the computer, but I hate the dumb cord.
Also candid portraits were awesome, as was the Irish bub with the tiki statue. Nice pics!
what caught my eyes on that “#1 of 3” thing is that it also says “VOYAGE ONE” on top of it so it’s conceivable that they could have her go from voyage to voyage in three issues story arcs…
The centerfold was indeed a nice surprise. :)

My favorite part of SheBuccaneer: the centerfold! I thought it was interesting that (according to the cover) it is #1 of 3. We’ll have to see what they do after that.
hey Andy, I just finished reading that #1 of SheBuccaneer and wow, that was indeed a lot of fun. Very different from a lot of what can be found out there. Very glad I took a chance on that one and me too, I’d wish August was a bit closer. :)

Hey FM. I just read my copy of Shebuccaneer, and I really liked it. It made me really wish August was a little closer. You’ll have to let me know what you thought once you have a chance to get to it.
Also, I just read Red Mass for Mars also. And I agree with Petey. Very cool story. And really made me look forward to #2.
Cheers!
cool. My copy of SheBuccaneer should get here anyday now, most probably tomorrow. Looking forward to it.
About RMfM, you and Pete are torturing me, arrrggg! I had not planned on reading it in floppies but after reading Pete’s comments I started reading reviews on the net and damnit, now I want it. Sigh… Will think about it some more.

Hi, yes that is also my understanding of the way the crossover is working. Thanks for that link. And I actually didn’t know that Dark Times and Rebellion will be on hiatus for bit.

Brian,
Thanks for the info. I did some research on the Vector crossover. I found this site which shows all the books in the “Vector” crossover. Looks like if I start with KOTOR in May I’ll miss the Vector story line, If I start with Legacy, the Vector story line will catch up to me in Sept. – Dec. Is that your understanding of the crossover?
Wow! I can’t believe someone actually read my comic! I grew up in Fort Dodge and lived there until I moved to Alaska a few years ago. I ended up sticking the Outworlder in Des Moines, though. More recognizeable. Still, I’m in shock someone actually read it! Thanks.

Hey MikeyD,
I was reading your comic “The Outworlder” and had to laugh when hey blew up the sign on page 10. Only an Iowan would get all those distances right. Since I’m in Ames, I thought it was pretty funny that your superhero was from Iowa too!

Hi Andy. I would definitely try to help you out, except this is my first time venturing into the Star Wars comic universe. :) But from what I read, I have a feeling Dark Times is going to be my favourite of the 4 titles. As for the two you are looking at, my buddy who reads them has been recommending KOTOR to me for some time. And he’s the guy that got me into comics in the first place, so I do trust his opinion. But if you want, when I get my shipment, I’ll let you know how I feel about them. Were you aware, though, that right now they are in the middle of a 4 title crossover event? It started in January I think, but I didn’t know about it until recently. So that’s why I subscribe to all 4 titles right now. When the crossover event is done, I’ll probably cut back to just Dark Times. Sorry I couldn’t be more help. :)

Hey -b., Can you give me you opinion on the ongoing Star Wars titles you’re subscribed to? I subscribed to Legacy, but I was thinking about going with KOTOR instead. I don’t really want to subscribe to an enormous amount of titles, so I wanted to limit myself to 1 Star Wars title for now. What’s your favorite? And which is your favorite between Legacy and KOTOR? Thanks, Andy
