FCBD 2008
Well I somehow managed to get pretty much every title I wanted on Saturday. I really enjoyed the “Love and Capes” issue #7. I am not sure if that one went under the radar or not at most stores. Luckily here in Austin I know the guys at my Local Comic Book Store (referred to as LCBS from here on) and they gave me the hook up.
Other highlights were the Atomic Robo issue and Hellboy story “The Mole.” I have not really read too much of Hellboy (the first two trades I think) and now I am Jonesing for that huge Library edition of Hellboy that just came out.
The past two weeks also saw Mighty Avengers #12 and New Avengers #40. While I don’t have either of these on the old pull list I have to say I really enjoyed these issues. Maybe Secret Invasion will be pretty cool after all. If Bendis includes more Nick Fury then I will probably be sold.
