Nice, I have to check out those Pilot Series books. Have you been following them all so far? Though I haven’t read any of them yet, I think the premise behind Urban Myths is extremely interesting. I really hope it gets picked up and I’ll definitely have to give The Core a look.

Hey dude, I saw your post about your delayed wait for Red Mass for Mars. I hope it comes soon but while your waiting, I really really recommend picking up The Nightly News trade. This is one of Hickman’s earlier works (nominated for an Eisner) and it really is one of his best.

Overall I think Pax Romana is Hickman’s strongest work but The Nightly News is a close second.

hey Chris, I gotta thank you for being the catalyst behind my discovery of Jay Faerber. Just started reading the first trade of Dynamo 5 and wow, what a load of fun it is. Only up to the second issue, but I can see that’ll be hooked.

That forum post of your a few weeks back made me order the annual, then the trade, then I saw Gemini (which I subscribed to and have read #1, also a lot of fun) and now I’m thinking about getting the two Noble Causes Archive books. Thanks again!

About that thread, I thought about something similar but srt of discarded it since not everybody receive their comics at the same time. I get mine about a week after they’ve shipped, so we’re about a week late compared to what everybody else in the comics world is talking about. The “pull” threads are cool cause they are drumming up interest into what’s coming up.

Yeah a wish list feature would be great. Maybe people will by me stuff! I’m an English Major with an Asian Studies minor so his girlfriend’s english mistakes (can’t remember her name) reminds me of trying to take class. I had a teacher trying to explain the character for mu3 and how it looks like “breasts” but the entire class thought that he said “breath” and we couldn’t understand why that “obviously” was an ideograph for a mother. He had to start motioning.
