Chris Stewart was on the Internet before you were and he’ll still be here when you’re gone.

He likes everything pretty much exactly according to Sturgeon’s Law – he hates 90% of everything. Except you – you’re cool.

He dislikes talking in the third person.

By day he works in the bowels of the video game industry and by night he maintains a rarity – a fanboy website that is more than ten years old. He also writes/rants with his old pals at AlertNerd.com.

You are hardcore, it seems.

castewar says: She's a PowerPuft Girl. ;p
TJIC says: Dude, is your avatar a Power Puff Girl dressed as the Stay-Puff marshmallow man from Ghostbusters? That's awesome!
castewar says: In comic book terms, probably not. But as a currently functioning powerhouse, no. Unless I misunderstood the last of the Planet Hulk books, Sentry and Hulk are Bob and Bruce for the time being.
Todd Michael R. says: wait..I don't think Sentry is gone...is he? I mean...no...right?
Tyler says: Holy freaking crap. I want that game.
Todd Michael R. says: cool news on the game.
MD says: "I want that on a t-shirt."

You don't say!!

Dr. McNinja - item is in the store. I recommend taking the time to read the comic. The first three issues are particularly delicious flavours of awesome.

PS - Egon was my favorite Ghostbuster growing up.
MD says: Seeing your 10-year-old page makes me lament how many websites I've gone through in my day. If I had just stuck with one I could boast similar.

Ah well. Love the avatar.
Todd Michael R. says: I came across alertnerd the other day, and CERTAINLY enjoyed myself.
TJIC says: Love the "Surgeon's Law" reference in your bio!
Matt says: Yeah, Simonson Thor 2 and 3 are out of print. No clue why. I got 1 and 2 for $5 each and 3 for full price before I knew any of them were out of print. There's fan blabbery that they'll do an omnibus next year at some point, once all the trades are out.
Matt says: Re: the "death" of Batman--I really am unsure where DC is going with all this. My latest theory is that the "Final Crisis" will take place in one of the 52 worlds that they will completely destroy, then creating an opportunity for an Ultimates-style relaunch of the whole universe, starting with a Batman #1. Alternately, this other world could have a "dead" pantheon of heroes, or maybe a pantheon that ascends to become this "Fifth World" everyone's speaking of. I just can't imagine them investing so much creative energy and time into creating this multiverse, only to kill it all next year, or to change it so radically that it's unrecognizable. That said, if the story's good, I'll read it, whatever they do.
castewar says: It started as awesome, moved to fun, then kind of wandered into too-much. Still love the idea, but it's kind of a clever note that should have been parceled out slowly over a few years. It's when Phoenix can be turned into a Zombie, you have to start wondering what the hell is going on. That said, I want the covers book.
Tyler says: Whats so bad about Marvel Zombies?
castewar says: Speaking as a zombie fan - a massive zombie fan - a zombie fan that buys actions figures, gives their weapons to his Shaun of the Dead figure, and then throws them away, just so Shaun can have an armory - Marvel needs to stop with Marvel Zombies. I can only hope this last mini-series ends it all.

What took you so long, Diamond?

Rumour from various retailers in town is that Diamond, at long last, will take into account holiday Mondays, and adjust the shipping schedule to accommodate. This means, no more “books are in on Thursday.” And it only took them decades to get around to it.
