Born and raised in West Virginia. Big fan of superhero titles, and I’m especially a sucker for new companies.

pretty much the whole of what I’ve read from ASM BND has been quite good to be honest. At least since #559 where I signed up for it. The Romita New Ways to Die arc was very cool…

Eric said:

Yeah, I’m really digging the two-in-one issues.

didn’t realize you were not already subbed to ASM. Guess the two-in-one Brand New Day issues sold you to it, huh? :)

Ya man, I plan on picking it up right after/before I see the Hulk movie this week.

It’s great to see Greg Pak going back to this world and plus Ron Garney is on art(his recent wolverine arc with Jason Aaron was incredible)!!

Woot can’t wait!

Skaar’s looking great!

How is Fall of Cthulhu? Is it like Cthulhu Tales? Are the Cthulhu one-shots any good? You’ll probably like Necronomicon it’s the august release from boom-stuidios, I think its a tie-in to Cthulhu.

Ah cool, I love Greg Pak’s hulk! Are you planning on checking out Son of Sakaar (or was it on of Hulk).
It would be unbelievable if it was like a mix between Pak’s Hercules and his Hulk. Art looks great too!

Eric said:

I’ve given it three issues. I don’t think I’m going to give it any more. I think I might enjoy it more if I wasn’t spoiled by Greg Pak’s run.

How’s the hulk been lately? I picked up the first issue, it was fun and the art looked great, I might go back to it.

I hear the hulk is going to fight Thor in one of the upcoming issues…..YESSSS… with Ed’s art is should be epic!

Pat1337 says:

Ah man, normally I would disagree with you but after reading the issue, wow what the hell happened?!?! All the different portrayls of Nick fury and the inking made it really confusing.

Damnit and I usually love Maleev’s work!

Are you picking up Bagley’s Trinity book from DC btw, I’m not familiar with his stuff, but it sounds like he’s pretty popular, might check it out.

Btw sorry for taking so long to respond!

Eric said:

I have to disagree. Not a fan of Maleev’s art, especially not on a title like Mighty Avengers. After having some great stuff from first Cho, then Bagley, the art’s taking a downward trend with Maleev.

FrogMan says:

I really, REALLY loved Cho’s Avnegers. A shame he left after only 6 issues. His Ms Marvel was the best of them all… :)

FrogMan says:

just read Locke & Key #2 and wow, that was some good stuff…

Also read Adolescent Radioactive Black Belt Hamsters #1 and it was surprisingly funny… :)

FrogMan says:

true, but tell me, speaking of martial arts comics, how come I don’t see Immortal Iron Fist on your pull list? Did you try it and not like it?

It’s really high on my list of favorite books, very well done stuff…

Eric said:

Yup, I saw a number of good stuff on your list that I would like.

I think we both love a good story, and have a soft spot for martial art stories.

FrogMan says:

funny how you brought me here, then I added stuff from your pull list to mine and it seems to have somehow turned around a bit and you’ve added some of my pulled stuff to yours lately.

We do have similar tastes… :)
