Customer Reviews
I keep picking up this comic every so often but ever since the original writers left its been kind of boring.
Most of the quirky comedy is gone.
The plot lines now have a reliance on the dc universe rather than on its on merit (i.e. heavy focus on outside story lines from generation lost)
It also expects you to know a lot of dc characters and organizations (personally I’m not that big of a dc fan and this only confuses things for me)
I miss the old writers who were very new reader friendly. This writer seems to only cater to those that are dedicated DC readers.
I keep picking up issues but the fun of this series is gone and it is now just another average comic book.
This is a review based on issues after #12.
i had never really been much into dc, but starting picking this title up around issue 7. i must say that this was always on the top of my read pile every month.
PG is just very down to earth and very relatable. the series did decline a bit after palmiotti, conner and grey left, but it is still very enjoyable.
i’m really disappointed that, so far, they have not announced her in the DCnU, but i’m hoping that they will soon!
