As of this writing, I’m three issues into Charismagic, and so far I’m thoroughly enjoying it. The art, while not to my usual taste, is crisp and full of character; I particularly enjoy the atmospheric colors. The story is light but serviceable, and I’m definitely interested to see where it goes. Some of the dialogue could perhaps be a bit sharper, but it gets the point across, and the characters are likeable enough. As with many Aspen titles, I wish issues released more often, but I like what I’m seeing and would recommend this title.
