A good story that doesn’t know whether it is silly or serious.

The first two issues start very light hearted and sow an expectation of comedy through out the series.

The down side is that the series becomes a serious back story for Taskmaster and the ridiculousness seems to hurt him as a serious character.

For instance how did he get his powers? well its goofy as hell and involves a small army of hitlers.
Who got hurt when he got his powers?
This is serious and very emotional for the characters involved.

If you get my meaning by those two questions this is the general feel for this limited series.

Regardless I like taskmaster a lot as a character and this series gives him more depth.

If you like this character then you should probably get this series (and seeing as how some of it is sold out (the paperback should be out soon))
