Booster Gold

This series is all kinds of fun, retro-style. Although there is an over-arching plot, each issue can be read as a "done-in-one" with a cool cliffhanger ending. There is some heavy-duty trivia and continuity wallowing going on, but always with explanations for newbies. This series is why I'm still reading DC Comics with all the disappointments - cough, cough - Countdown - cough - out there.
