I don’t know if this series is more inspiring or depressing. The series follows a group of people so randomly and loosely associated that they range from family, lovers, friends, acquaintances, to random passerby-es on the street all of whom have deep emotional problems about life and self-worth. The wonderful thing about it is that despite these harsh and depressing feelings throughout the books, nearly all of them experience a reason to go on, no matter how small and insignificant it may seem. These are books of contradictions and that’s very much what life is all about. We live life not to cherish the good times we’ve had, but to move on through the hard times to reach the next happy moment. It’s all very confusing and enlightening in equal parts.
