This book felt a bit strange at first because i felt that daredevil was noir enough for me just it itsnormal stories. This book is not bad but doesnt add anything really unique to the series because of that. It is a daredevil story so if you like daredevil then youll like this. But if you are looking for something different or uniqure there isnt much to offer here in terms of story. The art is still very well done and i will likely continue reading it, its daredevil you really cant go wrong. I guess i just had high expectations for a more unique story, what you see is what you get, which is not a bad thing by any means.
I chose to cancel after #2. Just not enough going on in this story to keep me interested. I’m a fan of the regular Daredevil series, and I really really like the “Spiderman Noir” short series, but this book has fallen short of both of those. Don’t know if I can put my finger on any one definitive thing, but the art is flatter than SM Noir and the dialogue is choppy even by DD standards. Anyhow, was sad that I couldn’t get excited about this series.
