Who doesn’t love Warren Ellis? The guy wrote Next Wave for pete sakes, the book was light, stylized, action packed, and filled with some of the quickest snappiest dialogue since Joss Whedon, and yet he still is able to write diologue heavy conversations making these characters believable (THIS IS TO YOU ANY OTHER BOOK, CHARACTERS NEED PERSONALITY) The artist Mike Deodato masterfully creates a stylized realistic, yet slightly off putting (look at some venom panels) take on our reality that I would love to take part in. Thunderbolts run by Ellis is an incredible read which I would recommend to anyone who enjoys Ellis, thinks supervillians are kickass, or wants to see Norman Osborn flip his wig(YEAHHH I SAID IT)
