1) the political aspects (even though I do not share Mayor Hundred's politics, exactly, they are presented intelligently and thoughtfully).
2) The character of KGB.
3) The alternate history bit.
4) The fact that the deep weirdness (the source of Hundred's powers, the visitor from elsewhere, etc.) are at the edges of the story, not at the center.
5) the realistic artwork, much of it done from live models.





















A lot of people say that, and I understand where they’re coming from, but I actually sort of like the “from live models” style because it’s different from the typical style.
