You don’t need to read the Sequel, it can stand alone. However there’s some small things in the background that does relate to the first series. I’m in love with McKelvie’s art and Gillions writing. It’s really good. If you can find it, pick up the first vol too, the story is a bit hard to follow but the art is fantastic.

Dude, has Action Comics been great or what? I can’t wait for the big event coming up and man I hope it is as good as the Sinestro event was for GL.
