I’m a high school math and computer science teacher. Me and my girlfriend, Jess, just started getting into comics, and we’re trying our hardest to catch up. So, we have a lot to read! Our favorite superhero is Superman (whose isn’t!?), but we pretty much like them all. Some of my favorites that I’ve read so far include Runaways, Batman: The Long Halloween, Y: The Last Man, and Ultimate Spider-Man. I’m also into watching movies and television, computer programming, rubik’s cubing, and destroying people in Scrabble and poker.

As someone who got into comics just 2 years ago and decided that Batman was my favourite, I must say it is tough to “catch up” on such a huge figure. Same with Superman. Don’t get me wrong. I still love reading everything I can related to Bats, but there are so many books, you know? Anyway, hadn’t seen you before tonight, so welcome to HeavyInk!
