This week on The Watchtower, it’s almost Christmas! Which means we’re mailing it in! (not really)

Actually there is a lot of Movie news to get to this week. Brand new trailers for GI Joe, Ghost Rider and The Hobbit have all dropped and need to be picked apart.

Plus, I’m sure you’ve seen the excellent trailer for The Dark Knight Rises. Know who hasn’t? Donnie! We sit in as he views it for the first time!

But that’s not all! We’ve got some of our close personal friends stopping by with holiday messages, The Forecast, last minute gift ideas for the comic fan in your life and Jeff has a special surprise for Donnie!

This week on The Watchtower, there’s a whole lot of stuff to get to!

First up, Defenders #1 offered us not only a decent book, but a new level of teasing from the folks at Marvel. Isn’t it about time the tease ended?

Then, with Avengers vs X-Men on the horizon we look at the possibility of Tie-Ins. May we actually be spared the lions share with this event?

And, the publisher of Image says that Marvel and DC are out of ideas and living in the past. At first glance, he may be right, but when you think about it… really, Image?

Plus, The Forecast, some new collected editions and JMS did NOT listen to Jeff last week.

This week on the Watchtower there’s big things afoot in the Marvel U!

Marvel announced this week the mega-event Avengers Vs X-Men. With 12 issues, 5 writers and 3 artists can this be the most ambitious comic story ever told? Or too much putting all the eggs in one basket.

Then, from the forthcoming Amazing Spider-Man movie it’s The Lizard! Brought to you by… Pez?
