This week on The Watchtower, we discuss two huge deaths in the comics world.

First up, Wizard Magazine, the publication that used to make or break those in comics industry has closed hit’s doors forever. A sign of the times? or a sign that should read “under new management?”

Also, the Fantastic Four suffers a blow with the loss of one of their own. But who’s really suffering? Comics fans, old and new.

All that, plus Spider-Man’s new movie duds, Wonder Woman gets a win, the Forecast, Rant Farm and anything else we can cram into this bad boy!!

This week on The Watchtower, I won’t lie: Things get weird.

First off, Donnie’s sick with Bubonic Dysentery or something, and I can’t even reach him by phone. So, I’ll do waht any good friend would: Assume he’s ok, and soldier on in his absence.

So we’ve got a SLEW of new movie pics to talk about. Spider-Man, Thor, X-Men: First Class and Captain America images have been raining down on the web like, well, rain. What to think?

Also, Marvel’s giving you a free comic! That’s right, free! But if you already bought it, too bad so sad.

And the teaser parade for DC’s upcoming Flashpoint event has the internet buzzing. But could they be from another world? An ELSEworld, if you will?

Plus, a whole bunch of Forecasting and me babbling on about the goings on in my personal life.

Oh yeah, it’s good stuff.

This week on The Watchtower, we shine up a Diamond as there’s NOTHING going on.

But fear not, there’s always something to talk about. Like the comic book “Media” for example. Could they be contributing to the success or defeat of certain titles?

And Wonder Woman… first a lukewarm re-launch, and now a passed over TV show. Is it maybe time for the Amazonian Princess to take a bit of a break?

Also, the DCU Online MMMMMMMMMMORG has gone live. It’s taken 2 years longer than they though, cost over $50 Million, and features the work of over 150 programmers. But the question remains: Is it worth playing?

We took a couple of weeks off but we’re back, and have a TON of stuff to get to!

Marvel’s got a new evernt on the horizon: Fear Itself. Are we ready for another big event? And more importantly, is Marvel?

There’s a new Venom in town, and before you ask what happened to the old Venom, wait until you hear about the makeover the alien suit is getting!

Also, Bendis & Bagley are back together on Ultimate Spider-Man. It’s a great thing, but what other great teams in modern comics should be putting the band back together?

Plus, a massive Forecast, Questy’s Rant Farm and a whole lot more! It’s 2k11, the year of The Watchtower!!
