This week on The Watchtower, we gear up for the holidays!

It’s our annual Gift-Giving-Guide For Dorks as Donnie and I tell you what you can get the comic book fan, or hard to please person on your list! There are a lot of good suggestions, so have a pen and paper ready!

But wait! There’s huge actual comic book news as well! The trailer for Iron Man 2 is live, and it’s awesome! Also, someone’s making their return to the world of the living, and this time they don’t have the tag “Black Lantern” anywhere near them. But is it too soon?

Finally it’s the best of the best in The Forecast, and of course Questy’s Rant Farm, filling you to the brim with holiday cheer!!

This week on The Watchtower there is a LOT of stuff to get to!

DC shocked the industry this week by announcing their new Earth One line, due out in 2010. Featuring superstar creators, and all-new contemporary origins of classic characters Earth One seems to be the, er, Ulimate way to jump into these comics.

But that’s not all! Earth One stories will be presented in a brand new format!! Good? Bad? Find out!!

In other “New Series” news, yet another superstar team is undertaking a book with Marvel’s Icon imprint. Who is it? What’s it about? Will I ever get a fresh cup of coffee? The answer to all, is contained within (except the coffee, that came true).

There’s all that plus the new and improved Forecast, Questy’s Rant Farm, and oh, so much more!!

We kick things off with a discussion about Blackest Night #5. Is it the best comic ever written, ever? EVER? Probably, and we’ll tell you why!

Next we move from the page to the screen where we have mucho movie news! Green Lantern, Avengers, Iron Man 2, Silver Surfer, were all talked about this week, as well as the upcoming Smallville TV movie”Absolute Justice.”

Then we hit up the all new, two-part Forecast! You asked for more reviews and previews, and now you’ve got’em!

Finally it’s the return of everyone’s favourite segment, Questy’s Rant Farm!!
