This week on The Watchtower, we delve into all things dark.

First off, Dark Reign kicked off in a big way with Dark Avengers #1, and we were once again proven very stupid. We should have seen that coming!!! Seen what, you ask? Find out within!

In other dark news, some incredible spoilers regarding The Blackest Night have been revealed this week. Of course, we wouldn’t want to ruin things for you… Nah, we totally would. And do!

All this plus Final Crisis #7, The Dark Knight’s Oscar snub, The Forecast, Donnie Does Trinity… the list goes on!!

This week on The Watchtower, we’re getting pushed!

That’s right, the new movie Push (due out Feb 6th) has a prequel comic mini-series out from Wildstorm, and we have Adam Freeman, writer of said mini-series to tell us all about it. It’s a look behind the scenes at creating a world, within a world.

Also, did you know Batman “died” last week? Probably not because it was completely overshadowed by now-President Obama’s appearance in Amazing Spider-Man! We dish the ups and downs on Final Crisis and Obama-mania!

All this and Donnie gets real mad on The Watchtower!

It’s our 90th episode of The Watchtower!

And to celebrate, we’re doing absolutely NOTHING! Well, that’s not entirely true.

In this week’s episode, in addition to your favourites like The Forecast and Donnie Does Trinity, we also talk about Final Crisis #6, we talk Watchmen, and we talk about Donnie possibly offending one of Canada’s great comic exports. Possibly.

All this and so much more it tires me out just to write it, on The Watchtower!

It’s our first episode of 2009, and it’s great to back!!

This week, we take a peek under the cowl, er, cowls, in DC’s latest teaser image for The Battle For The Cowl. Who will end up with Batman’s mantle? I don’t know. Do you?

Next we introduce you to Marvel’s Secret Warriors, and the viral campaign that they have launched to promote the new series. Written by Brian Michael Bendis, this new chapter in Nick Fury’s history will be sure to be an important part of the Marvel U this coming year!
