This was a great origin story which FINALLY explains (aka retcons) why Abin Sur was flying in a space ship instead of just using his ring to fly.

I haven’t read this one yet, but if it’s anything like volume 2, I definately want to get my hands on it.

This is so great; Oliver Queen and Hal Jordon are the perfect match up. It’s also a great peek into the past. A lot of social commentary including the introduction of John Stewart!

8.RobertS says:
This is the beginning of the ‘new’ Green Lantern era. Hal Jordon is still stuck with Parallax and the Specter and the Green Lantern Corps is in tatters. A great read that gives us how John’s constructs are always like blueprints, every nut and bolt included, how Guy’s ring sprays and sparks because his willpower can’t wait to be unleashed, how Kyle’s constructs are constantly being refined and updated, etc.

This was my very first venture into Green Lantern and it’s really good. Definately one to pick up.

Pretty good.

5.RobertS says:
The mini series that reintroduces the Green Lantern Corps as it’s rebuilding itself from when Parallax destroyed it. We see the introduction of lanterns such as Soranik Natu, Isamot Kol and Vath Sarn. I think this is a great series so far and it all started here.

4.RobertS says:
Continuing the Green Lantern Corps. Starting to see hints pointing towards the Sinestro wars…
-
3.RobertS says:
The introduction of the Green Lantern Corpse! O_O! Butterfly girl was a pretty cool character.
-
2.RobertS says:
Sinestro Wars…super awesome.

ATTENTION LANTERNS: THE BOOK OF OA HAS BEEN RE-WRITTEN. This is so good. Keep an eye out during the fight with Sinestro for “Epa!!!” (Re: The Simpsons Movie)

Great list and a good reference!
Cool list man, I’m not a huge fan of Green Lantern for the most part but his involvement in The New Frontier books was great!
