oh, believe me, we say it exactly that way, “ta-bar-naque” whenever we really mean it. Well done indeed, it really was in character with her. ;)

Thanks! My dad actually used to say that one all the time. I decided to go with the semi-phonetic spelling since I thought people might be confused why she was saying “tabernacle” after being injured.
I gotta say that one of the things I’m enjoying the most out of IHGG, besides the story and art of course, is your masterful use of the French language. You gotta have some good French Canadian friends because that resounding “tabarnaque” Renée let go in issue #2 could not have been better placed, or have meant more how I would feel if I’d exploded like she did… :)
I just picked up Gallant Girl #1, and just wanted to tell you I loved it! I look forward to the next two, and I hope it does well enough to become an ongoing series.
Read IHGG #1… loved it! I also write reviews over at ComicsBulletin.com, so I’ll try to grab the next issue and write something up about it…
MAKE IT A GOOD ONE!!!
Hi Kat! I can’t wait to read all of the “I Hate Gallant Girl” series! Love your Aunt!
Figured there was probably another Galaxy Girl out there! Thanks, looking forward to the first issue…

After the initial press release was sent out, we were contacted by Rob Liefeld and informed that he has an optioned character named Galaxy Girl. If there are two title characters with the same name, Rob wouldn’t be able to make a comic, and I wouldn’t be able to sell to movies or TV. Hence, the name change.
