Author Denny O. tries to temper the fall of Batman, by making it seem unfair that all his enemies are ganging up on him at the same time. Reminds of watching all these silly kung fu movies, where the bad guys only take turns in attacking the good guy. But if they ALL attacked at the same time, it would be all over. The HYPOCRISY of Bruce Wayne’s own crimefighting ethics begins to really show in this series.

This volume is not as good as #2, but is better than #3, which REALLY shows the HYPROCRISY of Wayne’s own crimefighting ethics! You need to read this volume to appreciate Azrael as Batman (Azbats). As far as I am concerned the mantle of the Bat will ALWAYS now belong to Jean Paul Valley (Azrael)! Long Live Azbats!
