I’ve been pulled under the wings of Hawkman and Hawkgirl…and I’m loving it! I’ve always viewed them as periphery characters, but Johns has created a compelling story which forces the reader to take the characters seriously.
Martian Manhunter’s arc has been particularly fascinating, and it’s nice to see him get out of Watchtower and dust his cape off.
Wonderful read – I hope the rest of the story arc delivers as much as this Volume did.
