Customer Reviews
rating 89 The story is about an attractive female assassin with amnesia, while engaging and well paced, what really makes this book truly distinctive is the artwork. It is a mix of black and white with color and ink styles mixed in with more painterly techniques. The mix of styles works well with in the narrative . It is often very expressive but consistently more readable then many Noir style comics.
The book has a gorgeous matte on gloss hardcover. One thing many comics done in a darker style often forget is that Noir art begins with the paper, if you don’t use a white enough stock the contrast range of the entire comic is limited. Here they use a quality paper that helps both the black and color accents pop.
