I enjoyed the science fiction graphic novel "Ocean" - there's no getting around it, Ellis does REAL science fiction (as opposed to science fantasy) better than almost anyone else writing comics.

The novel doesn't quite get 5 stars...but that's just because it was so short and elliptical.

I'm with TJIC--this is a good read. It is sorta short, and a little too claustrophobic for a comic book, but it's a neat concept executed well. I get the feeling Ellis adapted this from a screenplay or film pitch; it has that feeling of a limited cast of characters, big FX, and very specific locations.
