Looking for Marketing Intern Rockstar!

Hey all – I’m looking for a Marketing Intern / Assistant / SuperHeroRockstar who will be able and willing to do the following:

- using phone and email to research advertising rates in various publications
-noting these details in a spreadsheet
-categorizing hobbyist magazines according to our in-house schema
-coordinating with our graphic designer
-submitting PDF versions of ads via email to magazines
-following discussions of our service on various discussion boards and responding to those discussion threads as the “voice of the company”
-interviewing customers and vendors via email, blogging on our website, and other miscellaneous tasks.

That said, the ideal candidate will be:

• excellent at technical and creative writing * friendly * reliable * intelligent * flexible * computer literate, and very comfortable with email * interested in comics and DIY

Compensation is $15/hr.

Note that this is an entry-level job, ideal for someone with 0-3 years of experience in marketing but who is also looking to gain great on-the-job skills.
