I’m interviewed at great length over at ComicsReporter.com.

Want to know our priorities, our plan, the next features coming up, how the company got started, or anything else?

Check out the interview, and send links to your comics reading friends (who should, by the way, sign up with HeavyInk ASAP!)

wow Travis. I’m only halfway through it and I’m very, very impressed with it. Won’t lie to you, the last couple of weeks, I got so amazed by the level of service I’m getting from you guys that I was in fact worried, I don’t know, worried it was too good to be true. Glad to see all the thoughts you’ve put behind the whole adventure. Well done!

As I said in the other thread, LONG LIVE HEAVYINK!!! :)

Nice interview, brought out the big guns with Coolidge.

You know, I never told anyone this, but I actually did think HeavyInk was too good to be true at first. I was very hesitant to sign up and start ordering. I thought it was a scam. :) Glad I was wrong!

I thought the interview was great, and I’ll be linking to it on next week’s blog.

I was really impressed with the way HI helped get our book out to people who just couldn’t get their hands on it. The way Diamond currently operates just seems so totally backwards to me. If they had any serious competition I think things would be drastically different.

TJIC:
Given the way you cooperate with publishers and the infrastructure you have built, ever thought of creating a startup distribution company to compete with Diamond? Obviously a monopoly isn’t what this industry really needs.
