Thanks so much for posting this list, awesome! I think I am all set now, I am getting: Siege I might just pass on the Dec issues as I missed the boat on Cabal. I might have to add New Avengers, I stopped getting that right before Secret Invasion. |

I am subscribed to all the comic series in this event, which includes me resubscribing to Thunderbolts for what seems like the 50th time( I just can’t decide if I like or not.) So here’s to hoping this event is worth it. Also OldManLogan I got a bunch of back issues of New Avengers when I subscribed to it for Siege, and I recommend it. It will probably be one of the titles that I will continue to subscribe to after Siege |

Avengers: The Initiative #31: spoilers!: At least I think that’s how it went. I’ve read a lot of comics since then. Siege: The Cabal: spoilers: I might be a little off on this one too. |

I’m sub’d to I just added the Dark Woverine because I feel he will play a big role in this event. ( Just a hunch I have) Has anyone been reading Dark Wolverine ? Is it any good? |

@Faust – I agree about Thunderbolts, I liked the few issues that I have which were tied in with Deadpool and the covers looks great but I am not sold on it. Thanks for the advice on New Avengers, one of the main reasons why I stopped collecting is because I liked the first 31 issues in Hardcover and was hoping they continue but the rest are all PB. Those HCs are some of the best books that I own with some great art. If anyone knows about possible HC editions, please lmk. @Aaron – since I am not getting those titles you have spoilers for, I really appreciate you posting those blurbs, very cool of you! @Yami – I have all the Dark Wolverine but that is just because I was sub’d to Wolverine and it turned into that. It is one of my Marvel subs and they gave me the option to cancel but I didn’t. I only read one issue so far and it was pretty good. I would say it is worth picking up. |

I’ve been subbed to DW through Marvel as well, for the exact same reason. When they said Wolverine was becoming “Dark Wolverine” I wanted to throw up a little. Marvel definitely overplayed the whole “Dark Reign EVERYTHING IS DARK” Version of their books. However, I can verify that it is not a bad book (not very good either, maybe slightly above-average), and that Daken has a huge part to play within Siege. However, his role is going to be (at least at the beginning) separated from most of the others from the look of things. So if you don’t mind reading about something that isn’t necessarily tied into the main Siege plot, go for it, because if what I’ve been hearing is true, they’re about to finally find Daken his niche in the Marvel Universe. |

@ Tess, Dark Wolverine has been my favorite part in All of Siege !! So Glad I decided to grab these tie-ins…. I still don’t know what to think about Daken. All I know of him is from Dark Avengers… but from what I see now the character in his own ongoing is quite crazier and of the wall then in D A. The way that the Furies/Fates are drawn and the panel design. this is why I buy comics ! Art like that !!
@OML I know this comment is 2 months old BUT if your still around.. |

Buying the ties in for Civil War left a bad taste in my mouth…so i dont buy ties in to books i dont normally subscribe to. Plus i find that the conitnuity varies often and while it doesnt bother me it does cause my mind to have to organize everything. |

@Kindell, what tie ins left a bad taste in your mouth during Civil War? I ask because I have thought about getting the Amazing Spider Man, Wolverine , and FF Civil War tie ins when I find them on ebay for the right price…... |

I’m guessing that buying the 100+ tie ins is what left a bad taste in his mouth. Not that any one story was particularly bad. FWIW I liked ASM CW. |

@Yami. Now the ASM tie ins is good, Xmen, Fantastic Four was okay…the rest i found meh at best. My new theory is to pick up ties in and the Main event book but only the tie ins if im already subscribed to them. |

I’m down to the point where I’ll only buy the main event book and will only catch an ancillary title if it happens to fall into my subscription stack. And for events like X-Men’s ‘Second Coming’, I won’t buy books that I wouldn’t normally even if I miss a chunk of story. Siege has been decent enough, but I’m not even sure I’d go back to the well for another line wide event when next it comes up… I guess what consistently irks me about tie in books as a rule of thumb is that it increasingly seems like the main event is mostly just a skeleton outline for all of the tie ins to build around. So story beats that seem like they should have a good payoff in the main book are relegated to side show status. Secret Invasion with the Avengers versus the lost Skrullvengers in the Savage Land is a good example of that for me…no real payoff in the main book at all it seemed like. |

@manglr. Yeah thats exactly how i feel. The Event tie in story is being written within the confines of the already ongoing story with in the title, so if i havent been following the book there is no need for me to pick it up just to see the effects of an event on a particular group. |

Loved reading Siege #3, but I must admit that I am not getting all of the tie-ins and feel like I am missing a huge part of the story. |

I think pre-Siege Thor, Invincible Iron Man, Secret Warriors and Dark Avengers would help make more sense of the main Siege title. While I am enjoying the Siege tie-ins, so far they aren’t adding a ton to the main story, with the exception of maybe Dark Avengers. |

@ kindell and Aaron , yeah I am definitely looking for all the ASM CW tie ins and I want to continue all the way up to OMD an BND. I have the X-men tie ins and thought they where not good. No suspense no relevance what so ever, just a bunch of 198 nobodies and Domino trapped in an old Stark Nuke shelter or some BS. I think I want to get the Capt America and Iron man tie ins more then the FF ones now that you say they where just O.K. @ Joe thanx for the recommendation of the collected edition but I already have all the Ms Marvel ( that I read before I read secret invasion but I did think they were pretty good) and I have all the New Avengers ( again good- better then just good ) and most of the CW one shots so I will pass On the collected hard cover. I think I am leaning towards getting the two Cap Omnibuses and the the CW Iron Man in TPB. I still want to find the ASM’s in floppies so Ebay I will be a searchin….... |

@Yamii - The Cap Omnibi are well worth, particularly volume 1. Although, I’ll have to say, the direct Civil War tie in issues are probably the worst thing in it. The transition from the first few story arcs to the Civil War arc is pretty jarring as it is so steeped in its continuity and time period. Everything else is pretty classical and timeless. |

@ Yami yes get the ASM, Iron Man, and Cap tie ins they were the best. Be careful getting caught up on ASM i got OMD and then started grabbing issues of BND and just recently finished finding every issue from 546 to current. |
