Cool man, ya those books are fantastic. The Man Without Fear is probably my favorite Daredevil story ever. I wasn’t a huge fan of Born Again, but the retelling of Matt’s origin is killer in The Man without Fear.
Elektra: Assassin was another great book, but while I respect the art in it, it’s not my favorite style. I thought the book was a little too abstract which made it hard to follow along. I do like the artist of that book though, he did a run on The Shadow and it was absolutely fantastic. He was able to really make The Shadow seem like a creepy lunatic.
Are you into manga/anime at all? I’ve found stuff here and there but I find most of the popular stuff pretty dull. My favorite has probably been Berserk by dark horse, really great book/anime. When I free up some subs down the road I’m going to try to start following a series, no clue as of now though.
Also quick question, which would you rather pick for livving at RIT, the dorms or the inn, hah?
Hey man, sorry I never got back to you on the comic course, it’s being taught by Bobby Pelphrey. Not sure if he’s the guy you mentioned before.
I’ts weird here at RIT, theres like a huge population of anime and manga fans, yet no one into comics, what’s up with that?
Anyway, I saw your pull man alot of great books, Thor especially has been fantastic.
I was wondering what you were digging the most right now from your pull?
Hah, you go to RIT, cool man!
I’m a first year transfer here, it’s been ok so far but winter really sucks.
Did you see the Graphic novel course they had available this quarter? I might check it out spring. Anyways the books were: Watchmen, V for Vendetta, Ghost World, Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, and Maus.
Not bad for lit course.
