Comic Summary: Written by Kevin Smith Art by Walter Flanagan & Art Thibert Cover by Bill Sienkiewicz Once again, Kevin Smith - the fan-favorite creator behind GREEN ARROW and Daredevil - teams up with Walter Flanagan - the artist on the acclaimed series BATMAN: CACOPHONY - for an all-new adventure starring The Caped Crusader. This could turn out to be my favorite Kevin Smith written superhero story to date and I’ve read all of his previous ones. Smith’s Batman manages to be dark, intense, kinky, twisted, self-aware, and hilarious, often all in the same scene. But in terms of overall tone and pacing he seems to have tapped into making a new classic tale, that if it were written by Frank Miller would be praised by fans as a return to form for him. Along with “What ever happened to the Caped Crusader?” this is one of my favorite Batman stories in recent memory. Cachophony was good, solid, but Smith seems to have really hit his stride with this title.
