Customer Reviews
Excellent. Even though I haven’t read any of the Johns Green Lantern series (I did read the Final Crisis Rage of the Red Lanterns special), it was simple enough to follow. I really believed this would be a great jump on point for me to get into Green Lantern itself, but I believe I will search out cheap copies of the trades online when I can. All of this aside, the story itself was great. Ivan Reis hit a home run on the art, gruesome and gorgeous all at the same time. I loved it. The interatction between Barry Allen and Hal Jordan was moving especially seeing all of those monuments and crypts. The black rings are going to be very very busy. I look forward to where this is leading especially after those last few sick pages. Highly recommended…
