Customer Reviews
I’d give this 3 1/2 if I could—It was okay. I’ll join the chorus and say “Things finally happened,” but not enough to blow me away. I’m confident that this whole thing will read much better as a trade instead of a monthly. Lenil Yu’s art is still amazing. Worlds better then his Mighty Avengers run, so please Marvel chain an inker (inker? Inkist? He-who-inks?) to his ankle and never let him be without one again. I would’ve liked to have seen Reed’s “hit” by Skrull-Pym have more of a lasting effect, but oh well.
Tony’s not a skrull – hooray for that! I’m glad to see Marvel have some balls and not go completely back on Iron Man’s actions of recent past. Now if only a Skrull-Spiderman would restart the Brand New Day’s restart…
Hmm….
All in all, good show, let’s have more of it, and when the skrulls finally slink back into their warships and hightail it “home” (wherever that is now) I think this’ll be looked on as a successfull “Blockbuster Cross-Over Event.” Not perfect, but good in a racuous, summer movie sort of way.
