Customer Reviews
This was an interesting taste for the book. I’ve liked Warren Ellis’s stuff in the past.
The basic comic was alright, but the concept that it seeds makes me really want to read more.
I’m rating this book 3 stars only because I am reserving judgment. The first issue is just a tease. It introduces the concept of the book and some back story but doesn’t really show you anything of the characters yet.
The concept is really intriguing. What would you sacrifice to be superhuman? It could be great but it could also become another “being a superhero is more than just kicking ass” story. Warren Ellis is one of my favorite writers so I think he’ll do it juistice, but we’ll see.
