I am absolutely in love with this series. The Trench are sincerely terrifying, and I’m busting at the seams to witness more of their carnage.
Arthur’s story is getting more fleshed out, which is aided by the addition of Mera to his rank of cohorts. Mera in herself is a pretty great character – early on we discover some of her unique Atlantean traits, and we see some classic Aquaman “fish calling”!
Johns is really adding new layers to this character, and I’m genuinely excited to see Arthur Curry’s future.
