Let me start off by saying that I have really been enjoying Nick Spencer’s work on Morning Glories and Thunder Agents. The problem with the three issues of Secret Avengers (13, 14, 15) is that while they are well written and provide some insight to the characters that you normally don’t see, they don’t contribute anything to the overall storyline and only have a loose connection to the Fear Itself crossover. Being an Avenger series, I expected there to be more involvement with Fear Itself. Overall, I was disappointed and would recommend that you only pick up these issues if you are a die hard Avengers fan or Nick Spencer fan.
