So far one of the best of the .1 initiative.

The story is condensed into a one-shot and it could easily have been a full 5 issues long. the villains are kept relevent and the team is all brought in with focus on Wolverine and Psylocke.

it also has a condensed history of the villains that I was unaware of. It is however unimportant since the only person of note from the group of villains is Deathstrike. Not being long into comics and rarely seeing her this issue definitely is informative of what her deal is.

This is really a good one-shot.

My only criticism is with the synopsis which indicated that the team would be discovered (they won’t be heralded as heroes or villains because they aren’t seen or known of).

Still this a very good comic. If you aren’t already buying x-force I’d suggest this comic to get a feel for the series and then I’d suggest that if you like it to then buy the past 6 issues.
