I like the Parker/Walker run more every issue. The team is growing increasingly cohesive, which makes me enjoy the title much, much more. In fact, the concept of teamwork is becoming a major and explicit theme in the book. Ghost urges one teammate to help another because “he’s one of us.” Later, the bad guy mocks the Thunderbolts for thinking they’re a team instead of just a glorified chain gang. They promptly work together to take him out, giving us a great panel from his point of view, on the ground, with Moonstone, Juggernaut, and Ghost all looming above him. Heck, we even get to see Man-Thing in action.

Also, Ghost may be my favorite Marvel character currently.

Highly recommended. It’s a fast and fun book that, despite featuring super heroes punching giant monsters in the head, maintains enough depth of plot and character to reward close reading.

I agree.

At first I was offput by this series since at issue 110 the team has been run by Norman Osborn. I loved every issue from that point.

When this Luke Cage run it worried me. At first I plain didn’t like it but as Kurt point out it has gotten better with each consecutive issue.

The thunderbolts is a solid team series and I hope it never gets cancelled.

To my knowledge it is the highest numbered team series as well without being cancelled and restarted (and I mean this in the sense of a series that is running to this day).

Recently there has also been a lot of good jump on points as well (144 and 150) so if you are interested feel free to jump on the train before it leaves the station.
