I don’t know what an infinity gauntlet is but I am so glad to see the hood is back. Hopefully this mean he’s sticking around for a while. I’m also digging the red hulk idea since I believe the original team had The Hulk on it; it only seems right that the red hulk be here.
I didn’t like the last arc but this new story has revived a bit of hope for this series (for me at least).
The only negatives I have for this issue are:
1) that it felt short (felt like a nibble of a pie rather than a slice).
2) The art for the hood was off in that I had no idea who it was for a while.
3) The red hulk doesn’t really join the avengers in this issue he just sort of crashes in for a page.
4) And the last issue I have with this (and with every avengers series out right now) is the Oral History thing.
It is literally a waste of space and I have yet to read it and realize now that I cannot read it since I have not been buying New Avengers.
Regardless of the negatives I still feel that there is potential in this story and I look forward to the next issue.
