BATMAN IS BACK!!! The new suite design is my absolute favorite that I’ve ever seen. Equal parts modern and classic, and the triumphant return of the yellow chest emblem. A great first issue, manages to stay dark while incorporating the fun detective feel of the older Batman comics. This is an exciting time for Bats.
I have been lukewarm on Grant Morrison’s Batman up to this point. I always felt like a page was missing from the issues that I read. I am happy to say that the first issue of Batman Inc was a breath of fresh air. The story and art had a totally different feel to it and at the end of the issue I was left wanting more. Can’t wait for the next issue.
