I’m certainly biased, since I’ve been involved with this story since 1980, but I have to say I never thought we’d finally get the comic to come out in a regular format, monthly, in full color… now we’ve got just that, and I’m over the moon!!!
In Issue one, the Starstruck Glossary was supposed to be placed in between Starstruck and the Galactic Girl Guides, but that’ll have to happen in the subsequent issues.
Finally: seeing the work Charles Vess and I did on the GGG in print, in full color and coming out month by month is an added joy!
I hope folks pick the book up and give us one more read, and enjoy Lee Moyer’s swell painting job!
STARSTRUCK is one of my favorite works of art in any medium or genre…I first discovered it in HEAVY METAL and read all I could of it in graphic novel and comic formats…Excellent to see it reissued again for the world, this time in full color…I look forward to a compilation of the whole story some day. Best of the best.
The Best of the Best is back!
STARSTRUCK started when Alan Moore, Frank Miller, and the Hernanadez Brothers were just getting their first legs. It was already as good as anything they ever did, and only gets better with every revision.
All the acclaim for Lee Moyer’s amazingly painted new color is justly deserved. And just as rewarding is relishing how Michael Kaluta has now expanded the art on every page: astounding!
STARSTRUCK is a punk space opera for smart rebels who want the next level. This new beginning is just for you!
